Situated 50km from Nouméa in New Caledonia, the Nouméa-La Tontouta International Airport is the country’s main airport complex and handles almost 500,000 passengers a year. Spread across 20,000 m², the terminal building has two aircraft stands that are linked directly to the terminal. There is a passenger drop off point outside the Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport as well as 570 car parking spaces. Parking is free for the first fifteen minutes and, for ease of access, is situated close to the airport terminal. Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport offers numerous services - a currency exchange service, two cash point machines, a Duty Free shop and a self-service restaurant can all be found in the terminal building. Passengers can also benefit from a regular bus service that runs from Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport to the town of Nouméa.
